With a concert of song and chamber music featuring some of Calgary’s top young talent, Mountain View Connection Concert Series throws the spotlight on up-and-coming musicians this week.
Founded in 1994, the Mountain View Connection Concert Series provides opportunities for young musicians from around the world to gain valuable experience performing and perfecting chamber music repertoire.
It’s your chance to hear vocal piano duo Laura Brandt and Evan Mounce alongside University of Calgary violinist Rena Far, pianist Jack Olszewski, and oboist Aidan Duga. The concert includes the Ravel violin sonata, Charles Ives’ Sunrise, songs by Strauss, Samuel Barber, and Donaudy, as well as music for oboe and piano.
