A sometimes hilarious, sometimes poignant, always truthful portrayal of the demands of family and career, join Urban Stories Theatre as it presents A Woman of a Certain Age.
The solo show follows six women who are struggling with the changes and losses that accompany becoming an invisible woman in a culture obsessed with youth and beauty. Written by Wendy Froberg and directed by Valerie Ann Pearson, it won Best of Fest at the 2015 Calgary International Fringe Festival, playing to sold out audiences there and at the Edmonton, Regina, Winnipeg, and Lethbridge Fringe Festivals.
A Woman of a Certain Age runs May 13 to 19, 2018 at the Lower Theatre, Knox United Church (506 4th St. SW). The show contains mature and suggestive language, audience discretion is advised.
