Hear masterpieces of the wind symphony repertoire as the Calgary Wind Symphony presents this Sunday afternoon concert.

Formerly the Calgary Concert Band, the Calgary Wind Symphony is known as a high calibre wind ensemble made up of some of the best local wind musicians. Wind Symphony Masterworks includes the Tragic Symphony of John Barnes and David Maslanka’s Give Us This Day. The concert also features Stan Clime, one of Calgary’s foremost performers on bass clarinet, performing the Chamber Concerto for Bass Clarinet by Gary Kulesha.

The concert takes place at 2:30pm on March 12, 2017 at the Eckhardt-Gramatté Hall, Rozsa Centre, University of Calgary (206 University Court NW). Free admission for children five and under.
