Calgary’s Cowtown Opera opens its 2018/19 Double Trouble Season with The Bat—an outrageous costume comedy adaptation of Strauss’s Die Fledermaus—and you can win your way in.
Set in the modern day, Gabe Eisenstein has to spend eight days in jail, but that’s not going to stop him from going to Orlovsky’s famous Halloween party. He conspires to get to the party, but little does he know that his wife, his maid, and his friend have their own schemes—and when everyone arrives at the party, things get batty!
The Bat runs September 28 to 30, 2018 at the Studio Theatre, cSPACE King Edward (1721 29th Ave. SW).
