The National Music Centre’s popular late-night series returns with special headlining performances by A Tribe Called Red, DJ Heather, and Smalltown DJs, as well as selections from DJ and Chapel Sound co-founder Nancy Lee and Calgary break-beatsmith MollyFi.
This edition of After Hours is part of a week-long celebration of monster synth The Original New Timbral Orchestra (aka TONTO). Bring your most comfortable dancing shoes as NMC turns down the lights and turns up the tunes.
The night also includes pop-up bars, a silent disco, interactives, music experiments, and other activities celebrating TONTO, as well as the AEMCON Marketplace, an electronic music culture and industry trade show with over a dozen vendors. This is not your typical night at the museum.
Studio Bell After Hours: TONTO Edition takes place at 9:00pm on November 16, 2018 at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre (850 4th St. SE). After Hours is a licensed event for those 18 years of age and older. All visitors must provide valid government issued photo ID.
