Calgary’s Cowtown Opera presents Figaro’s Wedding—a modern adaptation of Mozart’s ever-popular Marriage of Figaro.
Joel Ivany of Toronto’s Against the Grain Theatre takes Mozart’s hilarious tale of love and marriage, and puts a fresh spin on it for this English adaptation. Figaro and Susanna are getting married. There’s just a few problems—the bills are stacking up, the bachelorette party is turning into a nightmare, and the best man is hitting on the bride.
