The Festival Chorus welcomes you to attend the first concert in its 61st season and the sixth installment in its travelogue-themed concerts. Enter for your chance to win a pair of tickets to Christmas in Rome.
Previous concerts in the series have looked at Venice, London, Paris, Seville, and Leipzig, and now, just in time for the holiday season, you can go on a musical journey to the eternal city.
Full of pieces composed for and in Rome, hear Ottorino Respighi’s melodic and appealing Laud to the Nativity of the Lord alongside audience carols, Italian folk favourites, and so much more. You can even hear vocal soloists in O Holy Night.
The concert takes place at 8:00pm on December 7, 2019 at Knox United Church (506 4th St. SW).
