The Calgary Bach Choir’s first concert of the season brings together the brilliance of Bach the father with the exuberance of his youngest son, Johann Christian, and you can win your way in.
The program includes three J.S. Bach gems—Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring from Cantata 147, Air from Orchestra Suite No. 3, and the festive Sanctus in D Major, BMV 238—together with Christian’s passionate Gloria in excelsis Deo.
The concert takes place at 3:00pm on November 18, 2018 at Knox United Church (506 4th St. SW).
