A party for social good that supports emerging artists and local nonprofit organizations, Timeraiser returns to Calgary this September with a special nod to Canada 150.
Each Timeraiser is a party and an art auction where attendees bid on original works of from local artists with volunteer hours, not dollars. All artwork is purchased by Timeraiser at market value, set by the artist.
Hosting a selection of local nonprofits, the evening allows attendees to party, mix, and mingle while talking about good work and volunteer needs. And for 2017 Timeraiser pulls out all the stops with great entertainment from Astral Swans, live art by Mandy Stobo, food trucks, and drinks. Featured artists for include Curtis Van Sorenson, Hayley Stewart, Tiffany Lynn Cuffley, Cory Nespor, Paula Timm, and many more.
A night to celebrate Calgary’s art, culture, and community, Timeriaser was also selected as one of 38 Canada 150 signature projects.
