Join dynamic Calgary jazz vocalist Deanne Matley as she celebrates the launch of her fifth and most personal album, Because I Loved.

Recorded last year in Montreal, Matley takes listeners on her own emotional journey from the pain of losing love to quiet contentment, with stops at red-hot passion and the excitement of new love along the way.

“This is an album about love, melancholy, and starting again… about relationships,” says Matley, in a statement. “It’s the album I’ve always dreamed of making.”

Joined by renowned Montreal players Paul Shrofel (piano), Adrian Vedady (bass), and Jim Doxas (drums), along with some of her favourite local musicians and surprise special guests, this is a celebration fans will not want to miss.

The concert takes place at 7:30pm on May 5, 2018 at Knox United Church (506 4th St. SW).

Enter before noon on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 for your chance to win a pair of tickets.
