A voyeuristic look at love, La Ronde resonates with the roots of flamenco dance through the troupe Soledad Barrio and Noche Flamenca.
Loosely-based on the Arthur Schnitzler play written in 1890s Vienna, the piece is structured as a series of interlocking scenes between couples. Part of Mount Royal University Conservatory’s Travelers Series, this diverse theatrical performance brings together song, music, and dance for a spell-binding aesthetic in the form of flamenco.
