Spiritus Chamber Choir presents world premiere of new Canadian work

Spiritus Chamber Choir is joined by a string ensemble as it tackles works by Canadian composers including Imant Raminsh’s Ice & Fire and Jeffery Ryan’s Valediction.

The program also includes Tavener’s The Tyger, Ešenvalds’s Rivers of Light, and the world premiere of Canadian composer Carmen Braden’s The Ice Seasons. Hailed as a talented, bold musician, Carmen is an emerging composer and performer from the Canadian sub-Arctic.

Ice & Fire takes place 3:00pm on March 12, 2017 at Bella Concert Hall, Mount Royal University (4825 Mount Royal Gate SW).
