Otherworldly music composed for the chapel of the Popes, when the Papacy ruled from Avignon, France, join Early Music Voices Concert Society as it presents Ensemble Diabolus in Musica.
Sung by six virtuosic male voices, much of this religious music from the 14th century has never been performed since. The award-winning ensemble works from manuscript sources and specializes in unpublished repertoire.
The concert takes place on October 20, 2017 at Christ Church Elbow Park (3602 8th St. SW) with a popular pre-concert talk at 7:30pm followed by the concert at 8:00pm.
