Amici String School teams up with Kensington Sinfonia in a side-by-side concert showcasing these energetic and passionate talents.

For more than 25 years, Kensington Sinfonia has been an accessible classical performance ensemble in Calgary. Composed of professional orchestra members, the Sinfonia plays in a relaxed, intimate environment while the Amici String Program provides a setting for young string players to grow in a positive and nurturing environment.

In a program ranging from Bach to Locatelli to Sibelius, the concert offers a chance to delight in the skill and range of these young artists. The Sinfonia also performs Canadian composer Denis Gougeon’s Ballade.

Amici Della Musica takes place at 3:00pm on February 5, 2017 at Hope Lutheran Church (3527 Boulton Road NW).
