Spiritus Chamber Choir presents Handel’s most popular work

Buy Tickets

It might be a Christmas classic but Handel’s Messiah was not the most popular work in his lifetime. Composed in 1736, Alexander’s Feast takes that honour and you can hear it at Spiritus Chamber Choir’s upcoming concert.

This popular Oratorio is being performed at baroque pitch (A=415) on period instruments by Rosa Barocca, Alberta’s newest baroque orchestra. Rounded out by a Baroque harp performance of Handel’s famous Harp Concerto, the concert will be a treat to hear.

Hear Handel’s Alexander’s Feast at 3:00pm on March 18, 2018 at the Bella Concert Hall, Mount Royal University (4825 Mount Royal Gate SW).

Enter before noon on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 for your chance to win a pair of tickets
