Get ready to witness a stunning cultural performance rarely seen in Calgary. Featuring several multi-disciplinary pieces, each one highlights different African regions through movement.
Created to celebrate the gifts that multiculturalism brings to all, Unity: Dance Across Africa is an opportunity to further strengthen ties within the arts community and promote appreciation of the richness of African cultures.
The show includes performances by UMUCO Burundian Cultural Dance Group, Lebialem Cultural & Development Association Calgary, Adehyeman Mma Cultural Dance Group, Tounkara Dance and Drum, Sudanese Calgarian Youth For Change Association, and Woezo Africa Music & Dance Theatre.
