Calgary Pro Musica launches 40th anniversary season

They rank among the most sought after chamber ensembles in the world and the Trio Jean Paul will be in town to kick off Calgary Pro Musica’s 40th anniversary season.
“We have been working for some time to have Trio Jean Paul added to our series,” explains Calgary Pro Musica Artistic Director Dean O’Brien, in a statement. “They are a German trio that mixes poise and refinement with musical virtuosity. They have their own unique style that we can’t wait for Calgary to hear.”
The trio features Eckhart Heiligers on piano, Ulf Schneider on violin, and Martin Löhr on cello. The three are expected to play interesting mix of Haydn, Beethoven and Brahms for their Calgary stint.
