It’s 1985, and rock star wannabe, Robbie Hart, is New Jersey’s favorite wedding singer. He’s the life of the party until his own fiancee Linda leaves him at the altar. Now, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own.

Join Front Row Centre Players as it concludes its 30th anniversary season with a bang—a hilarious and heart-warming production of The Wedding Singer.

Travel back to a time when hair was big, greed was good, collars were popped, and a wedding singer might just be the coolest guy in the room. This fun musical is based on the hit 1998 Adam Sandler movie and features amazing original music alongside classics from the 1980s.

“I stopped doing theatre for a few years to focus on some personal stuff, but when I found [Front Row Centre] was doing The Wedding Singer, I decided this was my chance to start auditioning again,” says actor Ellen Sullivan in a statement. “I remember listening to the cast recording on my walk to school every morning for at least a month when it came out. It’s such a fun musical!”

Sullivan plays Julia, Robbie’s new love interest.

“One of the qualities we share is our sense of optimism, I like to lift people up,” she continues. “Also, we are both very nurturing.”

The Wedding Singer runs June 14 to 29, 2019 at the Beddington Theatre Arts Centre (375 Bermuda Dr. NW) and tickets are $25 or less.
