Highlighting the work of American cinematographers Gordon Willis and Haskell Wexler and their politically charged films of the 1960s and 1970s, Calgary Cinematheque continues its spotlight series with The Parallax View.

The second last film of the series, The Parallax View follows investigative reporter Joe Frady as he discovers a larger than life conspiracy. Director Alan J. Pakula and cinematographer Gordon Willis’ second collaboration ramps up the politically subversive themes with exacting, shadowy cinematography.

The Parallax View screens at 7:00pm on March 1, 2018 at the Globe Cinema (617 8th Ave. SW). Advance tickets and memberships can be found at calgarycinema.org.
