A musical evening with coloratura soprano Laura Hynes and guest performers, join the University of Calgary’s School of Creative and Performing Arts for this BC wildfire relief benefit concert.
Presenting scenes from local author Sheila Watson’s 1959 novel, the evening includes original music composition by William S. Jordan. The Double Hook paints a bleak and beautiful picture of the William’s Lake region of British Columbia, and is considered a seminal work in the development of contemporary Canadian literature.
