Honens Prize Laureate Luca Buratto performs in High River

Since winning the 2015 Honens Piano Competition, 23-year-old Luca Buratto has already set the classical world on its ear with his thrilling and lyrical performances.
Fresh from his Carnegie Hall debut, Buratto heads to High River for a special recital and masterclass with the High River Gift of Music Society. The program features music from a span covering two hundred years including works by Beethoven, Janáček, Adès, and Schumann.
In addition to the recital, Buratto hosts a masterclass with some of Alberta’s fine young pianists which is open to public at 11:30am the same day. Admission is by donation.
