An interdisciplinary celebration of dance, drama, and music at the University of Calgary, the School of Creative and Performing Arts is ready to take off with its annual festival of student work.
For over a decade Taking Flight has celebrated the creativity and emerging talents of the university’s students by showcasing a broad range of projects. And for 2017 the festival has expanded to include an interdisciplinary performance as well as the popular Dance@Noon and Dance@Night events. There are even several music concerts on the schedule including performances from the New Music Ensemble and the Chamber Music Ensemble.
