Join concert pianist Glen Montgomery and the Rocky Mountain Symphony Orchestra (RMSO) for an exciting season finale featuring Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto and ever-popular Seventh Symphony.
Professor of piano for many years at the University of Lethbridge and the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, Montgomery recently returned to Calgary as a Distinguished Teacher of Piano Performance at the Mount Royal Conservatory. Joining the RMSO for its season finale, this relaxed, casual, and high-calibre performance is the perfect gateway into classical music.
Based in Calgary, the group has a mandate to take orchestral concerts outside the city limits, so hit the highway and take in these two accessible and affordable shows.
Symphony! Beethoven Brilliance takes place at 7:30pm on May 4, 2018 at the Town & Country Centre (103, 275 Jensen Dr. NE, Airdrie) and at 7:30pm on May 5, 2018 at the Highwood Memorial Centre (128 5th Ave. W, High River).
