Enjoy a lazy afternoon with the National Music Centre (NMC) as Sundays in C-Square returns this August.
A free afternoon music series, head to East Village’s open-air urban square at the corner of 7th Ave. and 4th St. SE to see local performers strut their stuff. From psych-rock to rockabilly and Americana to Celtic tunes, acts include The Heirlooms, Hi-Strung Downers, The Doll Sisters, and West of Mabou.
“With the success of last year’s concert series, we are thrilled to bring back this free event to East Village,” says Adam Fox, NMC’s Director of Programs, in a statement. “We love seeing our community activated with live music, and it’s a great way to get to know some of the city’s emerging artists.”
Sundays in C-Square runs each Sunday, weather permitting, August 13 to September 3, 2017 from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Head to studiobell.ca for the full schedule.
