Join Grammy-nominated St. Lawrence String Quartet as Calgary Pro Musica’s 40th concert season enters 2017 with an exceptional lineup.
“We have two award-winning quartets coming for the month of January both with unique and equally rewarding styles of music,” explains Calgary Pro Musica Artistic Director Dean O’Brien, in a statement.
Serving as Stanford University’s Residence Ensemble, Geoff Nuttall, Owen Dalby, Lesley Roberston and Christopher Costanza of the St. Lawrence String Quartet have a reputation for imaginative music making. Hear them perform Janácek’s Quartet No. 1 Kreutzer Sonata, Mendelssohn’s Quartet in E Minor, Op 44, No. 2, and more.
