An android with perfect artificial intelligence, Anya is in every way indistinguishable from a human being. Robb is her creator while Eve will do whatever it takes to discover just how human Anya really is.
Exploring new trends in horror, Theatre BSMT opens its season with Liam Salmon’s Silence & the Machine, a haunting look at morality, objectification, and choice. The piece won the fifth annual BSMT Dwellers Playwriting Competition and is directed by Theatre BSMT’s Artistic Producer Ryan Reese.
“The script is a tense, disturbing ride that will keep audiences guessing right up until its unforgettable climax,” says Reese, in a statement.
Silence & the Machine runs October 11 to 14, 2017 at the Victor Mitchell Theatre, Pumphouse Theatres (2140 Pumphouse Ave. SW) with a midnight show on October 13. The performance contains course language, mature themes, and gore, viewer discretion is advised.
