Calgary’s own National Music Centre and its educational team take centre stage with this two-day mini music festival for all-ages. Musicians AM Static and The Heebee-jeebees join the fun on December 8, and Kirby Sewell Band and Sargeant & Comrade are on the docket for December 9.
The event offers audiences the chance to interact with presenters, ask questions, and learn about each musician’s music and career. With short and interactive concerts, the mini-fest is a great way to introduce young music lovers to live music.
NMC presents Showtime Mini-Fest from 10:30am to 2:30pm December 8 and 9, 2016 at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre (850 4th St. SE). This event is included with paid admission to Studio Bell and is suitable for ages five and up.
