Returning for the second year in a row, watch as the top performers from a handful of Calgary-area schools rap-battle it out for the crown of Science Genius Champions.
Beakerhead, GlobalFest, and the National Music Centre present Science Genius Rap Battles, a program that uses hip hop to help youth learn complex science concepts by meeting them on their cultural turf. The 2018 participating schools include Langevin, Tsuutina Middle and Senior High, Louis Riel, Annie Gale, Sir Wilfrid Laurier, and W.O. Mitchell.
Science Genius Rap Battles takes place at 12:00pm on May 31, 2018 at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre (850 4th St. SE) and is included with admission.
