Dress in your favourite costume and join the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra as it closes its season with the music of Star Wars, Star Trek, Close Encounters, Lost in Space, and beyond.
Experience Hollywood’s ultimate sci-fi film and TV themes in this orchestral salute led by pops conductor extraordinaire, John Morris Russell. But that’s not all—featured alongside the music are spectacular astronomy images courtesy of renowned American astronomer Dr. José Salgado. There will even be expert undercover judges on hand with a prize for the best costume and members from the 501st Legion Badlands Garrison will be posing for pictures with concert-goers.
