UCalgary’s dance showcase expands and goes international

Co-presented by W&M Physical Theatre and the University of Calgary’s School of Creative and Performing Arts, don’t miss your chance to see artists from Poland, Austria, and Canada showcase contemporary dance works over three weekends.
The series includes public performances as well as special events and workshops, and kicks off January 19 and 20, 2018 with Framed/Uje[ci], a unique contemporary dance and physical theatre work choreographed by Wojtiech Mochniej and performed with Iris Heitzinger.
Then, on January 26 and 27, 2018, the second weekend features a line-up of dance works exploring Identities including Iris Heitzinger’s Short Study on Nothing, and Maciej Kuźmiński’s Difference.
ProSeries closes out February 2 and 3, 2018 with We Sell PL: The Creative Process Revealed, a unique physical theatre event that takes the audience through the experience of creating and developing a new work choreographed by Wojciech Mochniej.
ProSeries Dance runs January 19 to February 3, 2018 at the University Theatre, University of Calgary (230 University Court NW). Tickets are $21, $16 for students and seniors, and are available online or at the door.
