Bringing together three ensemble works that address the idea of transformation, join Dancers’ Studio West for an evening choreographed by Davida Monk.
Featuring a cast of seven local dancers—Nicole Charlton-Goodbrand, Valentia Dimitriou, Jared Herring, Meghann Michalsky, Sylvie Moquin, Rufio O. Rodriguez, and Katharina Schier—the show includes Moon in the Fox’s Garden commissioned by the University of Calgary in 2014, alongside The Call (2016) and Ashes for Beauty (2017), each created and presented through Dancers’ Studio West’s Dance Action Labs.
Physic/Alchemy runs April 19 to 21, 2018 at The Playhouse at Vertigo Theatre (115 9th Ave. SE).
