Ethno-Cultural Council of Calgary presents unique community theatre performance
- Location: Jack Singer Concert Hall, Arts Commons 205 8th Ave. SE
- Price: $10 - $100
Go on a journey with this one-of-a-kind community theatre performance bringing together Calgary’s Indigenous and ethno-cultural artists.
An innovative project that brings to life Canada’s roots and diverse history from the experiences of the first peoples of the land and those who came after, Our Canada, Our Story weaves together histories of existence, colonization, immigration, survival, healing, and resilience.
Told through a fusion of traditional and contemporary art as well as cultural forms, the performance encourages everyone to be critical students of Canada’s complex history and to participate in the shaping of our common future.
The performance marks both Canada 150 and the Ethno-Cultural Council of Calgary’s 15th anniversary.
Catch Our Canada, Our Story at 3:00pm on December 17, 2017 at the Jack Singer Concert Hall, Arts Commons (205 8th Ave. SE).
