Celebrating Japanese art, culture, and media in the Canadian community, join Otafest for three days of media guests, video games, cosplay, concerts, and, of course, anime screenings.

From its roots as a one-day film festival hosted by University of Calgary’s Dedicated Otaku Anime Club, Otafest has grown to be Calgary’s longest-running Japanese pop culture festival and features a 47,000-sq.-ft. marketplace and art exhibition as well as 24-hour programming.

Otafest runs June 30 to July 2, 2017 at the TELUS Convention Centre (120 9th Ave. SE).
