Join the Calgary Centre of the Royal Canadian College of Organists (RCCO Calgary) for an organ concert that might strike you as a bit strange. This isn’t your standard classical performance.
Celebrate Mardi Gras at this thoroughly quirky and dazzling comedy-infused musical show by Organized Crime Duo. These two energetic women present a program that includes a combination of classic organ repertoire and pop music arranged for the instrument.
And unlike any other organ concert, watch as multi-talented professionals Rachel Mahon and Sarah Svendsen throw in more costume changes than Cher, perform yoga moves while playing a fugue, and spar off with a little under-handed musical competition.
Expect a little whining from them, and a lot of laughing from the audience! It’s a show for the whole family, just watch out for flying chickens!
