An easy, affordable night of great, gothic horror, get into the Halloween spirit with Calgary’s own Lougheed House and its screening of Nosferatu.
A 1922 classic of German expressionist cinema, F. W. Murnau’s film features a fascinating, spooky original musical score and the 1891 Victorian home makes for the perfect ambiance. Arrive between 6:30 and 7:00pm for an easy trick-or-treat scavenger hunt or come just for the film at 8:00pm.
Nosferatu screens on October 27, 2017 at Lougheed House (707 13th Ave. SW). Tickets are $15 and include a drink from the bar.
