After debuting Off-Broadway in 2008, Next to Normal was awarded three Tony Awards and the 2010 Pulitzer Prize, and you can see it in Calgary this June with this intimate performance.
Its final production of the season, Cappuccino Musical Theatre shares this heartfelt story surrounding bi-polar depressive Diana Goodman and her family, as they cope with a tragic loss and explore what it means to try and survive. Exploring the themes of love, loss, mental health, and to what lengths we will go to have a “normal” life, this emotional roller-coaster of a production is worth checking out.
