The new Cathedral Concert Series kicks off this week and you can join Calgary organist Neil Cockburn as he plays a special concert to mark the 350th anniversary of the birth of François Couperin.
It’s a quick show that’s only 60 minutes long allowing you to catch another downtown show afterwards. The program includes works by Couperin, his uncle Louis Couperin, predecessor Jehan Titelouze, a work in homage to Jehan Titelouze by Marcel Dupré, and J.S. Bach’s French-style Pièce d’orgue, BWV 572.
