A timely interrogation of passion and politics, join the University of Calgary’s School of Creative and Performing Arts for Bertolt Brecht’s Mother Courage and Her Children.

Considered to be one of the greatest plays of the 20th century, Brecht’s seminal work looks at the grim realities of war and the rise of fascism through the power of theatre. Epic in its scope, the production combines a moving examination of human frailty with a provocative call to arms for social change.

Directed by SCPA graduate student Adrian Young, the production stars faculty member Valerie Campbell alongside Calgary-based actor Brian Jensen.

Mother Courage and Her Children runs February 17 to 25, 2017 at the University Theatre, University of Calgary (210 University Court NW).
