Join Tourism Calgary and celebrate what you love about our city all month long
Tourism Calgary invites Calgarians to safely share why they #LoveYYC and support local during this month-long virtual celebration. Spanning the full month of November, 2020’s edition showcases unique Calgary stories, compelling deals, interactive contests, and so much more.
For the past four years, #LoveYYC has been a single-day celebration where our city came together to foster civic pride, sharing stories about the people, places, and experiences that make Calgary so unique. This year, an extended, month-long celebration enables Tourism Calgary to support current health and safety measures, while inspiring a swell of community spirit.
“Calgary’s undeniable community spirit is truly our superpower, and it has remained a continuous source of inspiration for all Calgarians throughout 2020,” says Cindy Ady, CEO Tourism Calgary, in a statement. “That’s why we’re excited to be collaborating with our partners to safely celebrate a virtual #LoveYYC Month this year; amplifying the opportunities for Calgarians to support local businesses and share all the reasons why they love our remarkable city.”
And, as part of this year’s efforts to boost to local businesses, Tourism Calgary is collaborating with 13 of our city’s Business Improvement Areas to bring #LoveYYC Month to life. Each week of November highlights one Calgary quadrant including the neighbourhoods, businesses, public art, community leaders, and all those things that make each area so special.
