It’s been a great year of amazing stories, moving poems and stunning pieces of creative nonfiction. Celebrate 12 new writings by 12 emerging and established Calgary authors as Loft 112 launches the 2016 Long Lunch/Quick Reads Anthology.
The book celebrates each of the writers who presented at the loft’s monthly literary lunches this year. Centred in and around Calgary, each luncheon offered a chance to feast on the city’s stories. This new anthology brings them all together and features writing by Doug Neilson, Elena Schacherl, Barb Howard, Diane Guichon, Paul DiStefano, Rona Altrows, Doreen Vanderstoop, Erin Vance, Lee Kvern, Susan Calder, Jessica Magnoet, and Lisa Murphy-Lamb.
The launch is also part of the final Long Lunch/Quick Reads of 2016 featuring Lisa Murphy-Lamb’ Perfect End of a Star.
Long Lunch/Quick Reads Anthology Launch takes place at 1:00pm on December 16, 2016 at Loft 112 (112, 535 8th Ave. SE). Copies will be available for $20 and you can pre order lunch for $10 by emailing loftonetwelve@gmail.com.
