Acclaimed percussionist and winner of the Polar Music Prize, Dame Evelyn Glennie joins Land’s End Ensemble for this not-to-be-missed concert.
The evening features six world premieres of works composed especially for this event by five multi-award winning Canadian composers—Allan Gordon Bell, Derek Charke, Luna Pearl Woolf, Omar Daniel, and Vincent Ho—as well as Resident Conductor of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, Karl Hirzer, who will be conducting world premiere of Ho’s Kickin’ It 2.0.
