Join Joel Gray as Mount Royal Conservatory’s Salon Series presents his tribute to one of the greatest jazz legends—trumpeter Louis Armstrong. Jazz fans won’t want to miss this stelar evening.
Gray has carefully selected a repertoire that represents the prowess of Armstrong and his cohorts. Joined by a top notch local band that includes Bill McFarlin, Greg Digney and Mark Limacher, Gray is as comfortable playing lead trumpet with the pops orchestra as he is playing traditional New Orleans music or baroque piccolo.
