World-class jazz takes spotlight as annual fest returns

Start your summer on a high note with a diverse blend of world-class jazz as the fourth annual JazzYYC Summer Festival takes over Calgary.
With four mainstage venues, late night jams, public workshops, a very special Women in Jazz panel, and the signature JazzWalk, this summer festival returns thanks to Calgary’s jazz society, JazzYYC.
And with an expanded partnership with TD Canada Trust you can hit up education programs, JazzYYC Youth Band activities, and the annual JazzWalk. There’s even a student discount program for the festival, allowing students to take $10 off the cost of any ticketed show.

Memories of Tomorrow

Mainstage at MRU sees JazzYYC back at the beautiful Taylor Centre for the Performing Arts with a special concert featuring pianist John Roney. Recreating the legendary Koln Concert recording of Keith Jarret, head to the intimate acoustic space of the TransAlta Pavillion for this one-of-a-kind performance.
