A British drama series that aired on BBC 4 in 2015, Hidden Gems Film Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary with a special screening of Indian Summers.
Showing two episodes at a time, the miniseries is set in the foothills of the Himalayas during the summer of 1932 and focuses on the social politics behind the decline of the British Empire and the birth of modern India.
The screening starts January 28, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Alberta College of Art + Design (1407 14th Ave. NW) and continues on February 25 and March 25, with additional dates to be released. The entire series is free to Hidden Gems members and yearly memberships can be purchased for $25. Single tickets are $15.
