In a world where social norms are flipped on their ears and extreme role reversal ensues, being gay is the norm.

Written by Pam Rocker, heterophobia premiered at Sage Theatre’s IGNITE! Festival in 2009 and had a successful production during 2010’s Pride week. It has also enjoyed numerous stage readings around Alberta including this week’s at McDougall United Church. Selected to broaden awareness and advocacy for LGBTQ inclusion, the staged reading will be followed by a Q&A with the playwright, director, and cast.

The staged reading of heterophobia takes place at 12:00pm on September 18, 2016 at McDougall United Church (8516 Athabasca St. SE). Admission is by donation, open to the public and all are welcome.
