A high-energy trans-Balkan musical extravaganza, head to Arts Commons this October to experience the Goran Bregović Wedding and Funeral Band.
Lauded worldwide for his fusion of rock and Balkan folk music, Bregović has composed over 30 film scores, collaborated with musicians such as Iggy Pop and Gogol Bordello, and performing on the soundtrack for the mockumentary film, Borat. Bringing together a Gypsy brass band with Bregović’s Balkan rock star stage presence, this is an overwhelmingly powerful music experience sure to have you dancing in the aisles.
The concert takes place at 7:30pm on October 23, 2018 at the Jack Singer Concert Hall, Arts Commons (205 8th Ave. SE) with a pre-show performance from Total Gadjos at 6:30pm.
