Trico Homes International Fireworks Festival

Partnering once again with Trico Homes for the International Fireworks Festival, look to the sky for a symphony of pyrotechnics and music.

Always a highlight, for 2019 you can see presentations produced by world-class pyro musical artists from the United States of America, Spain, China, Canada, and a show-stopping final performance from GlobalFest itself.

OneWorld Festival

And there’s so much more to be had than pyrotechnics. Make sure you head to the park early as the OneWorld Festival brings the park to life with live performances, ethnic food booths, and a night market.

This is your chance to explore pavilions from some of Calgary’s cultural communities, each showcasing their heritage dress, cultural music, incredible performances, and interactive activities for all.

There’s even a citizenship ceremony at 7:00pm on August 20. For the past 12 years GlobalFest, in partnership with Citizenship and Immigration Canada, has held this moving ceremony onsite at Elliston Park. This year, you can cheer on and welcome 100 individuals as new Canadians.
