Showcasing Calgary’s cultural diversity and artistic excellence, GlobalFest brings together a lineup of stunning pyrotechnics alongside multi-faceted arts and cultural programming.
Partnering once again with Trico Homes for the International Fireworks Festival and Sunbelt Rentals for the OneWorld Festival, look to the sky for a symphony of pyrotechnics and music. For 2018 you can see presentations produced by world-class pyro musical artists from Ukraine, Spain, Philippines, and China, culminating with GlobalFest’s own spectacular finale presentation.
And make sure you head to the park early. The OneWorld Festival is full of live performances, cultural pavilions, a children’s village, ethnic food booths, and a night market. This inclusive festival is a summer-must.
GlobalFest runs August 16 to 25, 2018 at Elliston Park (Corner of 17th Ave. & 60th St. SE) and is open from 6:00 to 11:30pm on competition days. Please note, there is no entry after 9:15pm. Head to globalfest.ca for the full schedule.
