It’s time for Calgary’s most explosive festival! GlobalFest will once again be lighting up the skies and celebrating our city’s cultural communities, August 18 to 27, 2016.
This year look for world-class pyromusical displays from Brazil, Chile, Mexico, the United States and Canada during the Trico Homes International Fireworks Festival.
And remember that Elliston Park opens at 6:00pm giving you a chance to come early and take in the Sunbelt Rentals OneWorld Festival. Full of pavilions featuring some of Calgary’s cultural communities showcasing their heritage dress, cultural music, performances, and interactive activities, the park is also home to the Night Market giving attendees a chance to buy authentic handcrafted arts and keepsakes.
GlobalFest runs August 18 to 27, 2016 at Elliston Park (corner of 17th Ave. and 60th St. SE) and is open from 6:00 to 11:30pm on competition days. Please note, there is no entry after 9:15pm. Head to globalfest.ca for the full schedule.
