Exhibition Tour: Architectures of Control and Resistance

A commercial art fair for professional artists, see original artwork by 16 local artists who were juried into the show based on the quality and professionalism of their artwork and applications. The show is a curated, gallery style event where visitors can view the artwork and speak with the artists who create it. The event even features a keynote speech by Todd Hirsch, ATB Financial’s Chief Economist on March 16.

Difficult Terrain Opening Reception

A solo exhibition by Patrick Dunford, Difficult Terrain focuses on the clearcuts of British Columbia where the artist treeplants during the summer, as well as the deserts of Southern California where he resides the rest of the calendar year. The physicality of each place is ever present in his rich surfaces built up and broken down through constant mark making, scraping, and layering of thick paint.
